A lot of artist are asking me how do i write a bio without sounding cocky or self absorbent and really get the attention of who matters? My answer and the answer most A&Rs and labels will give you is to keep it short and sweet. Your bio should only be about a paragraph long answering the following four questions.

1. Who are your influences?

2. What type of music do you make?

3. How much draw you have at shows?

4. How many CD’s or downloads do you have per project.

Answering these questions along with good music will receive you the attention you want!
